I
De-Clicked the tracks that needed it  a while back (I think they may have ripped this from the BBC
Transcription Records. GREAT BALLS OF FIRE was the most noticeable with multiple
pops).

I finally got a hold of some De-Click and noise reduction programs and was experimenting on some
tracks I had been frustrated by.  The track of  Great Balls of Fire on the Electric Light Orchestra - Live at
the BBC  CD (track 11-Disc 1) has quite a few pops in it. I have the legit retail CD set from Eagle Records. I also
d-loaded that song to see if it was like that on another CD and it was.

I tried manually to clean it up a few
years ago and was never satisfied. I De-Clicked it and there was still some stuff to manually remove. That gave me the
idea to just try it manually again and use a WAV rip from my CD for the highest quality. For some reason the problems
stood out to me more readily and the trimming did what I wanted this time. The  De-Click software had made the applause
at the end sound strange and poppy and this manual job is ideal now.

Track 10 (In the Hall of the Mountain
King) also had one big pop in it at 3:05. I have taken that out also. The audio quality is excellent and it always
bothered me that they did nothing to try and fix GBOF at least.  I tried and tried before and for some reason it
all went pretty fast this time.

There was also a pop in Kuiama. I wonder if they just did a straight
vinyl rip from the radio transcription vinyl? The sound quality is so nice otherwise, but
for a legit commercial release I couldn't believe it when I first heard it. I thought maybe I had a defective CD.
